Job summary

Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating and Air is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to support customers and technicians in Mukilteo. The role emphasizes clear communication, scheduling, and service coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the trades is a plus.
  • Experience in booking appointments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
  • Experience in Plumbing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Manages large numbers of incoming phone calls from customers and technicians.
  • Collects and enters customer information.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; forwards to the assigned specialist or staff when needed.
  • Ensures that actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of interactions.
  • Scheduling projects for technicians.
  • Managing scheduled projects with organization and detail.
  • Communicate customer needs to technicians via appointment notes.
  • Determine whether the company provides the requested services.

This position is full-time onsite at our location in Mukilteo.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Manages large amounts of incoming phone calls from customers and technicians
  • Collects and enters customer information
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Scheduling projects for technicians
  • Managing scheduled projects with organization and detail
  • Sufficiently communicate the customers’ needs to the technicians via notes onto appointment summaries
  • Determine whether or not the company provides the services that the customer is requesting.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to memorize scripts and company pricing for general calls

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the trades is a plus
  • Experience in booking appointments

  • Previous experience with Plumbing is a plus
