Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV (HVAC) in Atlanta, GA, to design and deliver mechanical systems for federal and commercial projects with a strong focus on timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of related experience in mechanical/HVAC design.
• US Citizenship is required due to the federal nature of work.
• At least 4 years of experience with energy modeling tools (EnergyPlus, IES, etc.).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical HVAC systems for buildings, including calculations and drawings.
• Review and edit project specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• QA/QC of mechanical designs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Work under a department leader and manage teams and projects with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate across disciplines on federal and commercial projects.
