Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to load and unload products, deliver HVAC freight to customers, and stock merchandise.

The role requires a minimum 24 months driving a 22' box or stake bed truck, strong safety awareness, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team Monday–Friday with occasional overtime. Pay and benefits align with standard HVAC distribution roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable driving experience with a 22’ box or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of LTL and full truckload logistics.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Must be 21+ years old and committed to safety.
• Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare shipments.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift maintenance checklist.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are neat, safe and compliant with safety rules.
• Wear appropriate PPE and perform other duties as assigned.
