Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in Dublin, CA, seeks a Driver/Warehouse Associate to manage HVAC freight and daily deliveries. The role supports inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

You will operate box trucks and forklifts, load/unload shipments, verify received goods, and maintain safe, organized facilities. Candidates must meet experience requirements and pass safety checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of current, verifiable experience driving a 22’ minimum box truck or stake bed.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of LTL and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders and shipping documents to determine items to be moved and shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
