Job summary

The Baker Distributing Company LLC is seeking a Driver Warehouse Associate to deliver HVAC products safely and professionally, while supporting warehouse operations between trips. You will represent the company, load/unload, collect signatures, and maintain vehicle and inventory accuracy.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, 1 year driving experience, and a DOT medical card; CDL is desirable. Strong customer service and English communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
• A valid DOT medical certificate prior to employment.
• Ability to meet DOT physical qualification standards with accommodations.
• CDL license is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience including forklift/appliance lift is a plus.
• Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools; English communication required.
• Valid driver's license required if driving is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport HVAC goods daily to customers, vendors, and other locations.
• Load/unload products from truck; maintain truck and workspace safety.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist warehouse with inventory counts, picking, and order verification.
• Follow safety protocols; report hazards and incidents promptly.
• Maintain professional customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Operate forklift or appliance lift as needed and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
