Job summary

Baker Distributing in Savannah, GA seeks an HVAC Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to safely deliver HVAC products to customers and support warehouse operations.

You will load/unload, verify invoices, assist with inventory, and maintain truck and workspace safety; DOT and CDL requirements may apply; 21+ age, strong customer service, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
• Box truck delivery experience.
• A valid DOT medical certificate is required prior to employment.
• CDL license is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience, including forklift or appliance lift, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills focused on customer service and problem-solving.
• Ability to meet DOT physical qualification standards; able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Perform daily truck maintenance checks and report in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures; use PPE as required.
• Follow guidelines for safe operation of truck and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and workspace to prevent accidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
