Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver/Shop Associate for HVAC equipment and materials. You will verify loads, drive to destinations, assist with unloading, and maintain logs per regulations. OT and off-hour shifts may be required to meet project needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years delivery experience, a valid license with clean DMV record, and forklift experience. The job supports a hands-on shop environment and operating flexibility.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of delivery driving or related work experience is required.
Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain is required.
Valid driver's license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards.
Previous experience operating a forklift is required.
Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

Verifies and secures loads.
Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
Drives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.
Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc.
