Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking an HVAC Delivery Driver / Shop Associate in Barberton, OH. The role entails transporting materials to construction sites and maintaining orderly shop and office areas.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards.
• Previous experience operating a forklift is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.
• Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Monitor and keep the shop / shop yard clean of all debris.
• Label and shelf all incoming parts with job name, job number and date received.

Job Summary

Job Title: HVAC Delivery Driver / Shop Associate

This position will be working with the Delivery Driver and Service Manager to assist in transporting materials and equipment to specific construction job sites as well as keeping organization and of the shop and office area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.
• Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc. when needed.
• Monitor and keep the shop / shop yard clean of all debris.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse, storage yard, parking lot as needed.
• Label and shelf all incoming parts with job name, job number and date received
• Maintains cleanliness for office area consistently as needed.
• Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings when needed.
• Must be able to work OT and off-hour shifts if required.
• Restock returned material.
• Must be able to pass physical and obtain a medical card
