Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Delivery Driver/Shop Associate to transport materials and equipment to construction job sites and maintain shop/office organization. Role includes driving, loading/unloading, and maintaining logs per regulations.

The position requires forklift experience, a valid license, and a DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one, with ability to lift 75 pounds and work OT as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of delivery driving or related experience.
• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with driving record that meets company standards.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) as needed.
• Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs as needed.

• Label and shelve all incoming parts with job name, number, and date received.
• Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings as needed.
• Must be able to work OT and off-hour shifts if required.

Job Title: Delivery Drive/Shop Associate - HVAC

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Delivery Driver/Shop Associte.

This position will be working with the Delivery Driver and Service Manager to assist in transporting materials and equipment to specific construction job sites as well as keeping organization and of the shop and office area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.
• Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc. when needed.
• Monitor and keep the shop / shop yard clean of all debris.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse, storage yard, parking lot as needed.
• Label and shelf all incoming parts with job name, job number and date received
• Maintains cleanliness for office area consistently as needed.
• Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings when needed.
• Must be able to work OT and off-hour shifts if required.
• Restock returned material.
• Must be able to pass physical and obtain a medical card
