Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Delivery Driver / Shop Associate to transport materials to construction sites and maintain organization of the shop and office area.

The role requires 2+ years of delivery driving, a valid driver’s license, and forklift experience. A DOT medical card and ability to lift 75 pounds are needed. OT and after-hours work may be required.

You will verify loads, inspect trucks, maintain logs, and support warehouse operations to ensure safe, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of delivery driving or related work experience required.
• Vocational or industry trade school a plus.
• Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain required.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting company standards required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s) as needed.
• Assists workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as tire changes or bulb replacements.
• Keeps shop/yard clean and organized.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins.
• Maintains cleanliness for office area.
• Delivers and picks up permits, drawings, and related documents as needed.
• Must be able to work OT and off-hour shifts if required.
