R.T. Moore seeks an HVAC Crew Lead to supervise installations for new construction homes, townhomes, and related builds. The role includes on-the-job training for apprentices and clear communications to HVAC leadership.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, quality control, safety, and code compliance. You will coordinate with project managers, keep the site organized, and uphold company standards across every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of HVAC field installations.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of construction jobsite management operations.
• Proactive drive for accomplishing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and solve problems.
• Physically able to perform job duties.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise apprentices and oversee performance development.
• Conduct job readiness inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and field engineers to reduce issues.
• Maintain hours criteria and job instructions.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve goals.
• Ensure rough-in installations meet code and builder requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership and meet crew/department/company goals.
• Keep job site clean and organized.
• Follow company quality standards and installation protocols.
• Maintain company vehicle per policy.
• Adhere to all safety policies during installations.
