Job summary

Moore Home Services in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician for our Install Crew. You can confidently run residential change-outs, lead a crew, and complete clean installs with minimal supervision.

This longterm opportunity rewards performance and provides yearround work. You will mentor apprentices, ensure safety, and deliver highquality service to homeowners while documenting work and coordinating with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as lead in residential HVAC installation.
• EPA 2 Certification required; Universal preferred; Nate certification bonus.
• Ability to lead apprentices and ensure safety.
• Valid drivers license with clean record.

Job description

We’re growing fast and looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Technician for our Install Crew who take pride in high‑quality work, leadership, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and other products per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete projects.
• Ensure safety for self and team members.
• Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer’s home.
• Completes all documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service, interact with homeowners while completing installations; ensure customers understand how to utilize their newly installed systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years as a lead in Residential HVAC installation.
• Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems.
• Demonstrated ability to build and transition duct work, install indoor/outdoor units.
• Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects.
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
• EPA 2 Certification Required; Universal is Preferred. Nate Certified is a Bonus.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.

Pay Range

$80,000 - $120,000 USD
