Job summary

Insight Global is looking to hire an HVAC Controls Technician to work on a large client project in Houston, TX. You will perform daily startup procedures, run point-to-point checks, startup systems, execute commissioning scripts, and coordinate closely with the project manager.

This role requires travel and may last 1–3 years with travel arranged and accommodations covered. Applicants should have 2+ years in HVAC controls, PLC experience, BAS familiarity, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HVAC Controls experience.
• Experience with PLCs.
• Experience with BAS: Building Automation Systems.
• Familiar with blueprints.
• Must have commercial/industrial experience.
• Computer savvy including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Insight Global is looking to hire an HVAC Controls Technician to work for a large client in Houston, Texas. You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position is part of the travel team , however, it is anticipated that hired individuals will be working on a project is Houston for ~ 1-3 years. You must be willing to travel via plane and flexible to work long hours if needed. Flight and hotel accommodations are covered by the company
