Job summary

AlphaX is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, and municipal HVAC control projects along the Gulf Coast. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of BAS systems.

The candidate will read control drawings, perform point-to-point checks, and verify wiring while coordinating with project teams and field personnel. Travel to Gulf Coast sites and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with HVAC controls, building automation, DDC controls, or related low‑voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, sequences of operation.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and control applications.
• Experience with BAS platforms, controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
