Job summary

Insight Global in Lebanon, IN is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to support a large client. Typical hours are 7am to 4pm with potential Saturdays and overtime.

You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience performing daily startup procedures on HVAC systems.
• Ability to run point-to-point checks with controllers and peripherals.
• Experience with system startup and commissioning.
• Ability to execute functional testing and scripts.
• Strong communication and coordination with project managers.
• Commercial HVAC experience required.
• Understanding of electrical sensors and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily startup procedures.
• Execute point-to-point checks and ensure controllers work with peripherals.
• Carry out system startup and commissioning testing.
• Conduct functional testing and run commissioning scripts.
• Coordinate with project managers to align on milestones.
• Work with overtime and weekends as needed.

The hours are 7am -4pm with a possibility of mandatory Saturdays and overtime - we do pay overtime rates. You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
