Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to perform troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance of control systems for mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage components. You will respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support, delivering solutions to improve building performance.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or vocational training in electronics or HVAC with 3 years of industry experience, strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Vocational/associate degree in electronics or HVAC systems with 3 years field experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences.
• Aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical electronics.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC control systems and perform installation and commissioning activities.
• Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls tools and meters.
• Provide frontline technical support and clear communication with customers.
• Recommend system repairs and upgrade options to customers.
• Be part of an expanding team and develop within a global organization.
• Deliver high-quality service to resolve building inefficiencies and issues on-site.
