Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in post-education experience with controls.
• Strong independent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical and controls circuits.
• Understanding of IEC 61131-3 programming standards.
• Capable of self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Create test and prove control software applications for customer HVAC products.
• Coordinates and communicates requirements to engineering, sales, and purchasing for controls in a light commercial HVAC unit.
• Configure and Upload application programs for production unit controllers.
• Create and update documentation, controls literature, VFD parameters, ECM fans, etc.
• Field Support of customer purchased products.
