Job Description – Controls Technician United CoolAir, LLC. is an original equipment manufacturer of HVAC products. We have been serving our customers for over 35 years. We are looking for the right person to join our legacy and grow with us with continued success for years to come. We are currently looking for a Controls Technician to join our team at our York, PA facility. This position provides application software modifications for UCA microprocessor-controlled products as well as VFD operation and product support. This position also supports field service, UCA customers, and production testing for troubleshooting of all UCA products in electrical and controls.

Responsibilities / Roles

• Create test and prove control software applications for customer HVAC products.
• Coordinates and communicates well with engineering, sales, purchasing, of requirements to build out controls in a light commercial HVAC unit.
• Configure and Upload application programs for production unit controllers.
• Create and update documentation, controls literature, VFD parameters, ECM Fans, etc.
• Field Support of customer purchased products.

• Review product Bill of Materials for product build correctness.

Qualifications
