Job summary

TRYG Group LLC is seeking a BAS/HVAC controls professional to join our Lakewood, CO team. The role involves programming, commissioning, and project turnover for building automation systems in commercial settings.

You will work with project managers and field technicians to implement Niagara Framework-based interfaces and diagnose system issues. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on BAS experience, familiarity with BACnet/LonWorks/Modbus protocols, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on BAS/HVAC controls experience.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (required/desired).
Experience with Tridium Niagara Framework (Java/HTML).
Experience with industry protocols: BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus.
Travel based on job and customer needs; regional travel typical.

Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision, complete assigned projects, programming, commissioning and turnover per contract obligations.
Use programming tools and knowledge of building systems to develop instructions for DDC controllers and front-end UI; work with Project Managers and Field Technicians.
Programming includes setup of user interface/browser-based systems using the Niagara Framework.
Assist with troubleshooting and system issue resolution.
Assist in completing commissioning documentation and closeout redlines for as-built drawings.
Provide end-user training on system operation.
Report problems to supervisor and pursue self-study to gain product proficiency.
