Job summary
Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Building Automation Systems technician for HVAC/R projects.
You will provide responsive customer service, troubleshoot direct digital control systems, and perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and retrofit modifications to ensure optimal system performance. You will maintain BAS by inspecting trend logs, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming, while offering technical support to HVAC technicians and training junior
Qualifications
- 5+ years of combined education and experience in BAS/HVAC
- Formal technical training required
- Experience reading wiring diagrams and control sequences
Responsibilities
- Provide responsive customer service and build long-term relationships
- Identify and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications
- Maintain building automation systems by reviewing logs, schedules, and software
- Provide technical support to HVAC technicians
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians
- Create programming/graphics for new installations and retrofit projects (BAS)
- Commission control installations and verify sequences meet specs
- Record and report time, billing, and other required articles
- Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
