Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, build control databases, create user interfaces, and set up control systems per project specs.

This role provides on-site and remote support, conducts startup and commissioning, and ensures performance aligns with design documentation. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred, with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems, Niagara, Distech Controls, BACnet or Modbus.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposals.
