Qualifications

• Accurate estimating for HVAC controls and building automation projects.
• Oversee pre-construction to meet budget goals and customer service standards.
• Review and QC estimates for absolute accuracy before submission.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations leadership to scope points, labor hours and pricing.
• Build relationships with general contractors, mechanical contractors and building owners.
• Read, interpret, and take offs from blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in estimating and bid-tracking software.
• Negotiate pricing and scope to align with company goals.
• Valid driver’s license for local site visits.

Responsibilities

• Accurate takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC controls projects.
• Oversee pre-construction phases to ensure customer service and budget alignment.
• QC estimates prepared by others prior to final submission.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and operations leadership to scope controls, labor hours, and pricing.
• Source and manage bid opportunities; track proposals to improve close rates.
• Represent the company at pre-bid meetings and site walks as needed.
