Job summary
Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Controls Project Manager to lead on-site projects from planning to closeout, balancing technical work, customer communication, safety, and financial results. You will coordinate design, programming, installation, commissioning, documentation, and warranty handoff while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring profitable project delivery.
A technical associate degree with field experience is required, with knowledge of HVAC controls and building
Qualifications
- Holds a technical associate degree with field experience in HVAC/building automation.
- Experience with design and commissioning of digital HVAC/Building Automation controls.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and control theory; building automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC controls projects from planning through closeout.
- Coordinate design, programming, installation, commissioning, and warranty handoff.
- Direct subcontractors, installers, technicians, and designers as needed.
- Manage project financial performance including costs, billings, and cash flow.
- Communicate with customers throughout all project phases and pursue change orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and uphold safety standards.
