Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineering Technician III to diagnose, repair, calibrate and adjust electric, electronic and pneumatic HVAC controls across campus buildings. You will oversee building automation systems and EMS programming and provide troubleshooting for Desigo BAS software.

The role requires strong knowledge of PPCL, BACnet-based params and Siemens Apogee BAS, with on-site, M-F coverage and an on-call rotation after training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
4 years of experience in HVAC DDC controls and related HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses, repairs, calibrates and adjusts HVAC controls to maintain target temperatures and humidity.
Troubleshoots building HVAC system programming and EMS software.
Performs database management of HVAC field panels and controllers.
Installs DDC controls, programming and graphics for renovations or upgrades.
Ensures proper operation of building automation across campus.
