Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Controls System Technician to join JCFS in supporting Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Training is provided in a growing BAS environment with a Fortune 500 backing and a dedicated federal team.

You will troubleshoot, commission, calibrate and document control systems while maintaining safety standards and clear communication with managers, contractors and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, electronics, electrical or mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain security badges/clearances.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from controllers to end devices and complete commissioning documentation.
• Load system-level controller software.
• Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
• Document changes for as-built documentation and keep stakeholders informed.
• Follow safety standards and attend required safety training.
