Job summary

U.S. Engineering offers a Summer HVAC Construction Service Internship, a full-time, 12-week program running May through August 2027.

Interns will gain hands-on exposure to Service Operations, Project Coordination, Account Management, and Customer Service, with orientation, job walks, and a community service event. As an intern, you will learn from experienced leaders, assist managers across daily duties, and help schedule service requests while building professional relationships within the

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, business, or construction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn and gain knowledge from the Service side of Mechanical, TAB, HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing Contracting.
• Assist Operations Managers, Project Managers, Sales Account Managers and Estimators with their daily duties within an assigned region.
• Collaborate with Field Leadership and the Central Support Services team to ensure timely scheduling and completion of service requests.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
• Gain hands-on experience in project set-ups, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Attend and participate in kick-off meetings for projects.
• Work on project proposals, scope reviews, and project progress tracking.
• Foster and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Assist in securing new maintenance contracts through active participation in proposal development.
