Job summary

U.S. Engineering is offering a Summer Internship Program in the United States for 10–12 weeks from May through August 2027.

The Project Engineer Internship provides hands-on experience assisting project managers with planning, coordinating onsite construction activities, and applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges. Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor's degree and familiarity with HVAC, piping, and plumbing in commercial/industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Relevant HVAC, piping, and plumbing experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Assist in preparing technical reports, RFIs, and submittals.
• Project Coordination: Support project engineers in scheduling and resource allocation.
• Fieldwork: Participate in site visits and inspections to verify installations.
• Problem-Solving: Help identify and troubleshoot engineering issues during design and implementation.
• Collaboration: Work with electrical engineers, designers, and PMs to meet goals.
• Learning and Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to grow technical skills.
• Take project meeting minutes and document substitution requests.
• Assist Project Manager in client relationship development.
• Prepare and maintain productivity reports.
