Job summary

U.S. Engineering’s Summer Internship Program offers a full-time, 10–12-week position from May through August 2027.

As an intern you’ll gain hands-on experience with project engineers, supporting planning, onsite construction activities, and client relations, while getting oriented through job walks and a community service event. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing at commercial/industrial level desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources.
• Prepare technical documentation such as reports, RFIs, and submittals.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to verify installations.
• Take meeting minutes and document substitution requests.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Produce productivity reports.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, designers, and PMs to reach goals.
