Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC commissioning or controls, or comparable trade school background.
• Hands-on with BAS/BMS systems from major vendors.
• Proficient in programming, configuring and testing HVAC controls.
• Ability to perform functional testing and diagnostics on systems.
• Strong understanding of sequence of operations and logic.
• CxA/NEBB/AABC commissioning certifications preferred.
• Experience with energy efficiency or LEED commissioning.
• Electrical controls and low-voltage troubleshooting experience.
• Experience leading commissioning on large projects.
• Knowledge of integration with other building systems.

This candidate will take on a key role in system-level commissioning, focusing on programming, testing, and troubleshooting building automation systems. The ideal individual has strong technical expertise in HVAC controls and thrives in hands-on environments, executing complex system testing while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal building performance. Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC commissioning or controls experience (or equivalent trade school experience)
• Hands-on experience with BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, etc.)
• Experience programming, configuring, and testing HVAC control systems
• Ability to perform functional performance testing and system diagnostics
• Strong understanding of sequence of operations and controls logic
• Proficiency reading mechanical and controls schematicsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commissioning certifications (CxA, NEBB, AABC)
• Experience with energy efficiency or LEED commissioning
• Electrical controls and low-voltage troubleshooting experience
• Experience leading commissioning efforts on large projects
