We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced HVAC technician to join our growing HVAC service team in Central Texas (Austin) and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform HVAC controls installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting for new systems and components, ensuring automation systems are properly installed and functioning correctly.
2. Spend the majority of time in the field performing these duties.
3. Attend training, support team members, and contribute to the culture at Way Service. Depending on experience, mentor junior technicians.
4. Meet customer commitments professionally, with high quality and timeliness.
5. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Preferred: Graduate of HVAC Trade School Program.
2. 5-10 years of experience.
3. Experience with HVAC Unitary/DX systems.
4. Registered Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician in Texas.
5. EPA Universal 608 certification.
6. Skilled in testing and troubleshooting HVAC systems and components.
7. Ability to determine sub-cool, superheat, airflow, etc.
8. Experience replacing motors, compressors, coils, heat exchangers, etc.
9. Safety-oriented, NFPA 70E compliant.
10. Good attitude, strong work ethic, team player.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Must provide basic hand tools and gauges.
13. Compensation based on experience.
