Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a field service technician to service and repair commercial kitchen equipment across Dallas. You will diagnose and fix cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related systems, reading schematics and communicating with manufacturers as needed.

The role includes on-call responsibilities, a company vehicle, and ongoing training with CFESA certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be on emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams and schematics to support repairs.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts in a timely and professional manner.
• Produce accurate administrative documents (work orders, time reporting, receipts, stock inventory).
• Maintain a neat service vehicle and inventory; follow safety procedures.
