Midstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Commercial Service team. You will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial chillers and chilled-water systems, working to get equipment operating correctly the first time.

We value hands-on expertise with chillers, refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and hydraulics, plus the ability to read wiring diagrams and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience servicing commercial chillers and chilled-water systems.
• Advanced refrigeration, compressors, electrical, and pumps knowledge.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer docs.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial chillers and chilled-water systems.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control-system issues.
• Service air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, control sequences, and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, system testing, and operational checks.
• Identify equipment failures and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement solutions.
• Assist with system startup and commissioning activities as required.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and system performance.
• Accurately document service work using tablets, smartphones, and service software.
• Follow Midstate Mechanical and applicable jobsite safety requirements.

HVAC Chiller Technician – Commercial Service

Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ | Up to $48.00/hour DOE

Midstate Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Commercial Service team. We’re looking for a technician who knows commercial chiller systems, can confidently diagnose complex equipment issues, and takes pride in getting systems operating correctly the first time.

What You’ll Do
