Ideal candidates have HVAC certification, 5+ years in residential maintenance, and experience with budgets, vendors, and on-call responsiveness within 30 minutes. Strong knowledge of safety and housing regulations is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
