Job summary

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is seeking a maintenance technician in Memphis to manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and lock work with independence from day one.

The role includes make-readies, preventive maintenance, on-call weekends, and documentation of work. A $1,000 sign-on bonus, annual bonus, and full benefits package accompany a reliable vehicle and required certifications.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Solid working knowledge of common tools, appliances, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with building codes and OSHA safety practices.
• A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass background, credit, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive repairs and scheduled work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and lock work.
• Handle make-readies and preventive maintenance to keep resident turnover smooth.
• Lock re-keying and installation.
• Respond to plumbing and electrical calls and document all work daily.
• Rotating weekend on-call and after-hours support.
