Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to develop 3D models and 2D layouts for HVAC products using Creo or Solid Edge. You will support engineers by releasing changes via BOMs and drawings, and may build engineering prototypes to validate design changes.

Collaboration with manufacturing ensures accurate form and fit. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in sheet metal or equipment design, with an associate degree or CAD/Mechanical Design certificate.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in sheet metal design, equipment design, or DFM.
• Proficient with Creo or Solid Edge for 3D and 2D layouts.
• Experience using PLM systems and managing BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D layouts for HVAC products.
• Collaborate with engineers to release changes via BOMs and drawings.
• Review CAD design changes before submission to supervision.
• Maintain and update drawings based on sketches and notes.
• Ensure manufacturability through DFMs and cross-functional teamwork.
