Job summary

Compass Group seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Sheboygan, WI to maintain facilities engineering systems under supervision, with independence within the trade and required licensing. The role involves diagnosing complex problems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting tasks using a mobile CMMS.

The incumbent will support the Supervisor or Master Mechanic, handle repairs of HVAC and related systems, and participate in project reviews and emergency responses to keep critical

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Hold one of the following licenses: Journeyman Electrical, EPA-certified ACR, or Journeyman Plumber.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics; valid driver's license.
• Good understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform a mixed workload of preventative maintenance and simple reactive repairs.
• Update work statuses and document tasks in the CMMS on a mobile device.
• Assist in determining manpower, materials, and deadlines for jobs.
• Inspect and repair HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, and related equipment.
• Review outside vendor projects and create punch lists as needed.
• Support project management activities and respond to facility emergencies.
