Job summary
Quad is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Building in Sussex, WI to perform skilled mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, piping, HVAC, refrigeration and related support equipment. The role involves repairing walk-in coolers, icemakers and chillers, with responsibilities for repairs of overhead doors and dock equipment as needed.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical maintenance program or apprenticeship, plus mechanical/industrial maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a maintenance program at a vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship in general mechanical maintenance.
- Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled mechanical maintenance on plumbing, piping, HVAC, and related systems.
- Repair & maintenance of recycling systems, walk-in coolers, icemakers, and refrigerated air dryers.
- Repair of industrial vacuum pumps, electric motors, belt drives and mechanical couplings.
- Interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings; follow sketches.
- Operate and maintain power tools; ensure safety.
