Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associates/technical certs preferred.
• 3–5 years in building engineering or facilities management.
• EPA Universal Certification for refrigerants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs to buildings, utilities, grounds and equipment.
• Optimizes repair/maintenance of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs to ensure continuous operations.
• Provides hands-on training and teamwork with engineering staff.
• Promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
• Records data in logbooks and daily entries as required.
• Performs tests on utilities and equipment and logs results.
• Ensures compliance with codes, safety standards and regulations.
• Keeps up with latest technology for building systems and safety.
