Job summary

CBRE is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to support a premier financial institution campus with seven buildings. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and building systems, while performing preventive and corrective maintenance and responding to service requests to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Typical schedule is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with rotating shifts every eight weeks; on-site parking and dining options are available in a professional, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic experience required or strongly preferred.
• 4–5 years of job-related experience; shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to HVAC/mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance to meet or exceed equipment life and reliability.
• Respond to service requests and coordinate across campus maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and company directives.
• Manage safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and keep a clean workspace.
• Review building systems like fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for proper operation.
