Job summary

Htprof is seeking an experienced HVAC Building Controls Application Engineer to support design, programming, and commissioning of commercial building automation systems in Rocky Hill, CT. The role focuses on control system design, sequences of operation, and network architecture.

Responsibilities include developing control drawings, testing software, and coordinating with field technicians and subcontractors to ensure accurate implementation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical discipline plus 2+ years of experience or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• Knowledge of the commercial HVAC industry and BAS/BMS from design to commissioning.
• Ability to read and develop technical drawings, schematics, and sequences.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure HVAC building automation and control systems per project specs.
• Develop control drawings, sequences of operation, BOMs, and network layouts.
• Program, test, and commission BAS software to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules, submittals, and installation docs.
• Travel to project sites as required and provide field support as needed.
