Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Rocky Hill, CT seeks an experienced HVAC Building Controls Application Engineer to design, program, configure, and commission building automation and HVAC control systems for commercial projects.

You will develop control sequences, wiring diagrams, and software for BAS/BMS, collaborate with field teams and clients, and help move projects from design through startup and turnover. Travel as needed; strong BAS/controls and communication skills required.

Competenze

• Associate degree plus 2+ years of experience, or equivalent hands-on HVAC controls work.
• Knowledge of BAS/BMS, control theory, and ATC concepts.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Strong communication and collaboration with field teams.

Mansioni

• Design and configure HVAC building automation and control systems.
• Develop control drawings, sequences of operation, and BOMs.
• Configure and test software for building control systems.
• Coordinate drawings, submittals, and installation documentation.
• Select and order controls equipment and track deliveries.
• Assist with loading, programming, and commissioning controllers.
• Provide field-change information for as-built drawings and docs.
• Track project progress and communicate issues to stakeholders.
