Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC in Metairie, LA is seeking a Systems Specialist to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems on-site for commercial HVAC projects.

The role requires hands-on testing, diagnostics, and coordination with customers to ensure system performance, training, and documentation. Candidates should have related education and 1–2 years of experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls and building automation experience required.
• One to two years of service experience with electronic controls and HVAC equipment.
• Understanding of control systems, programming, and system commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of BAS systems.
• Conduct start-up, tests, diagnostics and system commissioning from controllers to end devices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls problems to resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit project documentation and commissioning reports.
• Coordinate with service manager and customers to ensure satisfaction and upsell enhancements.
