Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a Systems Specialist to execute HVAC Building Automation projects, including startup, diagnostics, and commissioning from controllers to end devices. You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot BAS systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

You will communicate with customers on-site, train operators in control systems, and prepare all required documentation.

Qualifications

• Vocational school four-year program graduate or an Associate’s degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Perform start up, testing, diagnostics and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium sized new or retrofit projects.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance service activities to ensure optimal performance of system.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair and/or replace control components and controls systems.
• Understand complex control systems including diagnosing and troubleshooting networking and integration.
• Write, create, load, test and commission programming software and graphics utilizing various programming languages and software.
• Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site; meet with customer to discuss operating problems and system enhancements.
• Train the customer in control systems operations and provide training certificates.
• Complete and submit commissioning documentation, punch lists, and markups for As-Builts.
• Coordinate with service manager/subcontractors and assist sales with technical recommendations for retrofits and upgrades.
