Job summary

Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is hiring a mid-level Facilities Operations Engineer in Denver, CO. You will repair and maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems across multiple sites, including a large theater complex, warehouse, and residences.

Expect to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and on-call support during events. The role requires a High School Diploma and 4–5 years of facilities experience, with knowledge of fire systems and building codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4-5 years facilities experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC mechanical and control systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of Fire Systems.
• Proficient with CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facility structures and utilities including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform furniture moves, painting, lamp replacements and basic repairs.
• Track preventative maintenance and coordinate with contractors.
• Lead during events and theater shows when required.
• Maintain equipment records and assist with safety procedures.
