Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dynamic Branch Sales Associate for our Laurel, MD location. You will be the face of the branch, delivering exceptional customer service and applying product knowledge to assist HVAC/R professionals and contractors.

Key duties include helping customers select the right products, processing orders and payments, maintaining inventory, and supporting a safe, organized counter.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or B2B distribution preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills.
• Ability to grow sales in a retail environment.
• Experience leading people in a retail environment.
• Experience analyzing customer, market and competitive data.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding HVAC products and supplies.
• Process customer orders and handle payments with accuracy.
• Maintain product knowledge, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Monitor stock and report discrepancies to the store manager.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot HVAC equipment questions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized counter area.
• Complete invoices, returns and warranty paperwork.
• Travel to other locations for training or meetings as needed.
