Job summary

BME Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to drive growth and deliver reliable service. You will own the branch P&L, manage budgets, pricing and margins, and ensure safety and compliance across field operations.

You'll build relationships with facility managers and general contractors, expand recurring service agreements, and lead technicians and staff through coaching and development while representing BME in the Indianapolis market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or MEP service.
• 3+ years leading a service team.
• Proven P&L responsibility and budgeting experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R and building systems.
• Experience with field service software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own the branch P&L, including revenue, gross margin, labor utilization, overhead and net operating income.
• Build and manage the annual budget and forecast; review monthly financials and act on variances.
• Grow the Indianapolis market by developing new commercial, industrial and institutional customers.
• Expand recurring revenue through planned maintenance and service agreements, with a focus on renewals.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling and workload to ensure calls are answered and completed on time.
• Recruit, hire and onboard technicians, apprentices and office staff; coach and develop team members.
