Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or 5+ years of construction project engineering experience.
• Experience with project administration, scheduling, productivity analysis, and cost control accounting.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing design, operation, and testing procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Project; MS Access or other database programs.
• Strong MS Excel and Word skills; solid internet research and organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed project estimating with take-offs and cost analysis.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules with manpower planning.
• Manage RFIs to resolve design and construction queries.
• Prepare and review submittal packages with contractors.
• Support data entry and population of project management forms.
• Coordinate and prepare progress billings to maintain cash flow.
• Assist with technical analysis and troubleshooting for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Leverage knowledge of HVAC/plumbing and construction sequences to ensure project success.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline; or at least 5 years of industry experience as a Construction Project Engineer
