Job summary

Service Experts LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Scarborough, ME to support the General Manager and lead service-center operations. The role oversees Sales, Maintenance and Installation activities, driving efficiency and profitability while coaching staff and ensuring safety standards.

You will assist with sales goal planning, budgeting, and staff development, while maintaining high levels of customer service and operational excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations or related field required.
• 5+ years experience in HVAC including sales, installation and service.
• Prior supervisory experience required and proven leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Valid driver’s license needed for travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate total activities of the service center alongside the General Manager.
• Lead and develop service departments (Sales, Maintenance, Installation) to improve efficiency.
• Support sales team performance and profitability goals.
• Oversee payroll processes, budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Train Customer Service Specialists on booking rates and service levels.
• Manage dispatchers and technician scheduling to maximize capacity.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental processes are followed.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to employees.
