Job summary

Fortive is seeking a production/assembly technician in Everett, WA to prepare, inspect and test products across multiple stages. You will follow prints and work instructions and participate in Fortive Business System (FBS) improvement activities.

The role emphasizes use of hand tools, tight adherence to specifications, and ongoing collaboration with global teams to improve product quality and efficiency. Eligible candidates may have HVAC soldering experience and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Able to read drawings and/or work instructions.
• Familiar with hand and power tools.
• Prior experience with wire stripping, crimping, and fasteners.
• HVAC soldering experience.
• EPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, clean, assemble, rework, calibrate, test and inspect product at various stages.
• Work from prints, diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to ensure final product meets specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other FBS activities as assigned.
• Effectively use various hand tools including crimpers, wire strippers, drivers, cutting tools, power screw drivers and other tools, as necessary.
