Job summary

Amatrol, Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler to build HVAC and refrigeration systems for training equipment used nationwide. You will stage components, solder copper tubing, and verify performance to documented specs in a climate-controlled facility.

The role emphasizes procedure creation and maintenance, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining test equipment. A high school diploma and English blueprint literacy are required, with EPA 608 preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to read blueprints and product specifications in English.
• Experience soldering copper tubing (preferred).
• EPA 608 Certification (preferred).
• Organized, self-motivated, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, and components for production training equipment.
• Verify system and component performance meets specifications; document results.
• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing procedures for assigned devices.
• Solder copper tubing with clean, reliable joints.
• Diagnose and resolve defects or errors in parts and assemblies.
• Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test-related equipment.
